Getting Started
There are several ways to get started with Oracle Business
Intelligence. Documentation, Tutorials,
Oracle
BI Samples, and Reports
Samples
provide instructions on how to use the key features of this release.
Before using Oracle Business
Intelligence Discoverer you need
either an OLAP data source or a Discoverer End User Layer (EUL).
Consult the
Installation Guide for more information on preparing your
data or download and install the Samples. If you have the connection
information
for a properly prepared OLAP data source or Discoverer EUL, then
you can launch
Discoverer Plus to create and edit workbooks and launch Discoverer
Viewer to
view and customize workbooks.
Before using Discoverer Portlet
Provider you need to associate your Business
Intelligence installation with a compatible Oracle Application Server
Infrastructure installation and register the Discoverer Portlet
Provider with a related Oracle Application Server Portal
installation. See the Oracle Business Intelligence Discoverer
